Instructions:-
These continental adaptor’s are the most simple travel adaptor’s to use. Just plug in your UK appliance and its ready to use in most countries in Europe and other countries with continental style sockets.
Each adaptor plug fits all European countries plus the following areas; Scandinavia, Morocco, Russia, Tunisia, Turkey, and other countries around the world that use the European 2 pin system. In addition, Brazil, Indonesia, India and Israel. However these countries may have more than one type of electrical system – consult your travel agent and/or resort to be sure.
IMPORTANT: Read ALL the instructions below before attempting to use this adaptor.Instructions for use:
- For use abroad only. DO NOT attempt to use this adaptor in the UK.
- Use only 3-square pin plugs conforming to British Standard (BS)1363, or 5 amp, 2 pin shaver plugs.
- If the continental socket does not have an earth connection, then only use this adaptor with non-earthed appliances (i.e. those appliances with a two-core mains supply cable). If in doubt seek local expert advice.
- Use only with electrical appliances operating on 100-250v (max. 7.5amps)
- This adaptor does not convert voltage. Therefore, ensure that the voltage of your appliance is compatible with the voltage of the foreign socket before use. If in doubt seek local advice.
- Always plug your appliance into this adaptor before inserting into the socket outlet.
- After use, pull the adaptor out of the socket and then disconnect your appliance plug
- Each continental adaptor fits straight into sockets with pin configurations shown in the diagram on the images page. It will automatically connect the earth terminal in your 3 pin plug to the continentals sockets earthing connection (if fitted) i.e. all European and Mediterranean countries, plus Scandinavia, India, Israel, Morocco, Russia, Tunisia, Turkey and other countries around the world which have been subject to the influence of various European electrical systems.
Please note. Alternative localised electrical systems may occasionally be found in some countries. Check with your travel agent prior to your departure.
Please also ensure you check the local voltage at your destination is compatible with your appliance before use. |
